Flexipole has perfected this traditional profile with user friendly, smoothed and rounded edges. Much stronger than ordinary timber, there is no splitting or splintering to cause injury to people or animals. The super hard finish deters chewing and crib-biting in horses. Maintenance free and designed specifically for Australian conditions, it looks magnificent in all rural, public and private urban settings. Our options incorporate many possibilities, from quadruple rails to top rail only with wire. And, fixing wire has never been easier with our unique system.
Composite Fencing is strong
The Flexipole fencing system is extremely strong and the rails span a distance of 2.4 metres, much longer than the PVC and plastic fencing available in the market place. Gates are also made to order in various sizes. Please visit the gallery to see the gates.
Composite Fencing is Eco Friendly
Flexipole fencing is highly suitable for wetlands and eco friendly settings. Often used around lakes and swamps to protect the delicate environment. PVC mesh and other wire can be attached to Flexipole fencing to help further the barriers required.
Flexipole fencing is also highly recommended in areas of high salt content, including areas for dune protection or river bank protection.

One of the biggest dangers surrounding the use of treated pine products is not only do they burn very easily but they are extremely toxic. One teaspoon of the ash is so poisonous it can be lethal and contaminate our environment. Flexipoles can and will burn but it is not easy to set them on fire. You require large amonts of heat and enough fuel to sustain a hot fire. Flexipoles are not totally non toxic they will emit the same carbon compounds as do plastics.
The photos below are a test using scrub and grass trees as fuel. The grass trees emit large amounts of heat and burn quick and fierce so they are a bench mark test.
After the first burn the flexipoles were still in function only one post sustained a small amount of fire damage.
Fire Test 2
The Second Test.
The Flexipoles passed the first test fine and were able to survive a large intense fire. Using the same posts which were now hot and very dry we wanted to see how much it takes to set the posts on fire. The second test used a group of Grass trees with large amounts of fuel all around them. The posts were placed very close and deep in the fuel zone. The resulting fire was fierce and very hot and after several minutes the post started to burn. At the conclusion to the test one post had made it through.
